Deep Duke Chess Engine |
About
Deep Duke is a chess engine written in Java. It is not a chess user interface. There are a number of available user interfaces which you can download for free. If your user interface supports the XBoard or UCI protocols, it can be used to work with Deep Duke.
The Team
Deep Duke was developed as a project assignment at FFHS, a division of the University of Applied Sciences of Northern Switzerland.
The following people contributed to the project:
| Sandra Pierrehumbert Zwyer |
Project lead, MinMax algorithm |
Claudio Laesser

Fredy Speiser
XBoard protocol, evaluation function
| Roman Zulauf
Design, UCI protocol,
data structures, move generator
It is planned to further develop Deep Duke and implement some more sophisticated search algorithms. If you want to help out, any contribution is wanted and appreciated.
